Collection of 20th-century art includes works by Joan Miró Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Juan Gris, Julio González and others. It was collected by Eusebio Sempere through arduous purchases and work exchange and was generously donated to the city on 1976. Juana Francés Collection is composed of paintings, sketches, and other graphic works by Alicante-born Juana Francés. The collection was bequeathed to the city of Alicante by the artist, and was acquired upon her death in 1990. usebio Sempere Collection consists of various works by Eusebio Sempere from gouaches on paper to sculptures. The collection has been acquired by the city since 1997. |

The museum is devoted to painting and sculpture of Alicante from the sixteenth century to the early decades of the twentieth century. In the museum there are nearly 500 works from funds of the provincial council, including a sculpture by Francisco Salzillo, and a portrait of Ferdinand VII by Valencian painter Vicente López Portaña. |

The National Museum of Ceramics and Decorative Arts "González Martí", located in Valencia, Spain, is a museum dedicated to ceramics (with special importance to Valencian ceramics), porcelains and other decorative arts such as textile art, traditional costumes and furniture. The museum contains paintings such as José Vicente Perez y Vela’s Immaculate Conception (1860); San Vicente Martir, an anonymous acquired in 1917, dated from the early 17th century and defrocked from the Cistercian monastery of Santa María de Benifassà; and several works from Ignacio Pinazo, a Valencian 19th century painter. |

The Museu de Belles Arts de València is an art gallery in Valencia, Spain, founded in 1913. It houses some 2,000 works, most dating from the 14th-17th centuries, including a Self portrait of Diego Velázquez, a St. John the Baptist by El Greco, Goya's Playing Children, Gonzalo Pérez's Altarpiece of Sts. Ursula, Martin and Antony and a Madonna with Writing Child and Bishop by the Italian Renaissance master Pinturicchio. It also houses a large series of engravings by Giovan Battista Piranesi. The museum is housed in the St. Pius V Palace, built in the 17th-18th centuries. It has also sections dedicated to sculpture, to contemporary art and to archaeological findings. |

The Segrelles Museum, dedicated to the Valencian painter Josep Segrelles, is located in the city of Albaida, (Valencia) in Spain. After living and working in Barcelona and New York, he decided to take up residence in his hometown in 1932, and with designs that made during his stay in US, began to build in 1940 which was his House-Museum, where he lived and painted until his death 3 March 1969. |
